The Latest from Storm Team 5…
Dense Fog has formed out there overnight due to clear skies and a light wind. The National Weather Service has went ahead an issued a DENSE FOG ADVISORY until 9am this morning, so heads up if you are headed out early this morning.
Once the fog burns off, it is looking to be a another beautiful late summer day out there. Mostly sunny with highs in the mid to upper 70s, with a few topping out in the low 80s. An easterly component to the wind will keep highs to the low 70s lakeside. Plan on the humidity to be a slight factor in our weather today with dew points in the low 60s.
Tonight, mostly clear, with lows in the mid to upper 50s. We will likely have some more patchy fog develop overnight, but it will likely not be as widespread as this morning. Best chance for the fog to develop will be up north and lakeside.
After the patchy morning fog burns off, skies will turn mostly sunny once again tomorrow. Temperatures will be even warmer then the days prior, with highs making it into the low and mid 80s, however, cooler lakeside in the mid 70s. Dew points will stay on the muggy side in the low 60s.
More late summer weather is expected on Tuesday, however, some changes are on the horizon. A cut off low pressure area will start to spin around the Midwest and western Great Lakes on Wednesday.
It will first bring in a chance of showers and storms late in the day Wednesday, but will likely retrograde east on Thursday so we should be dry then. As it meanders back to the west on Friday, we will start to cool down, but that does bring in rain and storm chances both Friday and Saturday.
