GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – There was a lot of Paws-itivity throughout the Green Bay community on Sunday as the Eastshore Humane Association hosted the 6th Annual Rescue Roundup.
Starting at 10:00 a.m. at the East Town Mall on 2350 East Mason Street, the event brought the community together to help support local animal rescues, including J&R Aquatic Animal Rescue, Whiskers Sanctuary and Rescue, Lucky 7 Dog Rescue, and many more.
The event also featured prizes, silent auctions, and a 50-50 raffle with all proceeds from the day’s event going towards helping animals in need.
A lot of it is just our volunteers, you know, we hit the ground running, we are active out in the community every day, we’re talking to everybody that we can, the more people that show up here, you know, the better it does for us, the better it does for them so its just the constant connections that we make.

Organizers told Local Five that the Annual Rescue Roundup could not take place each year without help from the community.
