The Latest from Storm Team 5…
Sunny, warm and a touch humid out there this afternoon as highs once again reached the low and mid 80s away from the water.
For tonight, skies will remain clear, lows will fall into the middle and upper 50s. Similar to this past morning, patches of fog will likely develop under our light wind regime, so heads up early tomorrow morning.
Areas of patchy dense fog will likely burn off once again by 9-10am, leading to another day of mainly sunny skies. Highs will be a repeat of Monday, in the low to mid 80s, mid to upper 70s are to be expected lakeside. Dewpoints will top out around 60 degrees, so it will feel a touch humid from time to time.
Wednesday we will start to see some changes in our weather as a cut off area of low pressure approaches. These changes wont be in our temperatures, but more so to our sky conditions. Expect a nice mix of clouds and sunshine with highs in the low to mid 80s away from the water. Late afternoon and evening, a boundary will approach from the west and set off a few showers and storms up north.
Temperatures will start to cool a bit for Thursday with highs managing the mid to upper 70s. Just like Wednesday, a few showers and storms are possible up north in the afternoon. Friday looks, breezy and cooler but we stay dry with highs around 70 degrees. Rain chances return to the area this weekend, favoring Sunday as the highest likelihood of any wet weather. Stay tuned.
