GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – Officials in Green Bay say the Mason Street Bridge is closed Tuesday morning for what they are calling “annual fall maintenance activities.”
According to a release from the City of Green Bay Public Works Department, the closure of the Mason Street Bridge (Donald A. Tilleman Bridge) started at 6:00 a.m. and is expected to last through 2:30 p.m.
The Tilleman Bridge, which runs over the Fox River, is said to be closed for annual fall cleaning and maintenance. During Tuesday’s closure, access to homes and businesses will be maintained.
The bride will be closed on the east side of the Fox River on East Mason Street at South Monroe Avenue. It will also be closed on the west side of the Fox River on West Mason Street at South Ashland Avenue.
Commuters are asked to use South Ashland Avenue, Walnut Street, and South Monroe Avenue as detours.
