OSHKOSH, Wis. (WFRV) – The University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh raised a record $198,389 during its annual Titans Day of Giving on Sept. 12, topping its $150,000 goal by more than $48,000.
The one-day fundraiser, celebrating UWO’s founding in 1871, drew 463 donors and marked an 88% increase over last year’s total.

“Our UWO alumni, community partners, faculty, staff and students have shown us what it truly means to be a Titan: tenacious, committed, generous and mission-focused,” UWO Chancellor Manohar Singh said.
Money from the event will support scholarships, strengthen academic programs and provide resources for students and faculty. Matching gifts from community partners helped boost donations throughout the day.
