CHIPPEWA FALLS, Wis. (WFRV) – A 62-year-old man from Wisconsin has been sentenced to seven years in federal prison for distributing more than 50 grams of methamphetamine.
Leroy McNamara of Chippewa Falls was sentenced on Sept. 5 by a U.S. District Judge after pleading guilty to the felony charge that same day.
According to court records, McNamara sold a total of 335 grams of meth to a confidential informant on two occasions in July 2024.

At sentencing, the judge said McNamara’s willingness to profit from the addictions of others through escalated drug dealing made him a danger to society.
The case was investigated by the West Central Drug Task Force, the Chippewa County Sheriff’s Office, and the Drug Enforcement Administration.
