DE PERE, Wis. (WFRV) – On Wednesday afternoon, firefighters in De Pere worked to pull a truck from the Fox River that had slid into the water at a boat launch.
A Facebook post from De Pere Fire Rescue states that they received a report of a truck in the Fox River around 4:30 p.m. on September 17.
The initial report stated the truck was in the water at a boat launch in the 1500 block of Fort Howard Avenue, but after crews responded, no truck was found.

It was then learned that the truck was actually at the Bomier Boat Launch. Crews arrived and found the truck that had slipped into the water.
Crews worked to stabilize the truck and prevent it from sliding further.
The truck was recovered from the water, and no injuries were reported.
