NIAGARA, Wis. (WFRV) – A 54-year-old man was pronounced dead after he reportedly lost control of his motorcycle in Marinette County on Saturday evening.
According to the Marinette County Sheriff’s Office, first responders and deputies responded to Wishman Road, just east of US Highway 141 in Niagara, around 5:50 p.m. on September 20.
Deputies say that a motorcycle, driven by 54-year-old Christopher L. Recla of Niagara, was north on Wishman Road when he lost control and crashed while trying to navigate a turn.

Deputies noted that Recla was allegedly not wearing a helmet, and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Failure to negotiate a corner and failure to maintain control were factors in the crash, deputies say. The crash remains under investigation by the Marinette County Sheriff’s Office.
