The Latest from Storm Team 5…
Tonight, mainly cloudy skies with areas of dense fog developing late. Heads up to drivers heading out early in the morning. A few showers are possible around daybreak as well.
Monday will be a day we need to keep an eye to the sky. We will have scattered showers and storms at times throughout the day. The first wave will move through during the morning. A isolated strong storm is possible, but most of the activity will just be run of the mill showers and storms.
If skies can clear out enough and the first wave doesn’t overwork the atmosphere, a few more showers and storms are possible for the afternoon and evening. A few strong storms producing gusty winds, downpours and small hail are possible. Rainfall could push up and over 1″ in the isolated downpours.
Forecast highs will reach the upper 60s and low to mid 70s.
Overnight Monday, showers will come to an end early, then more fog will develop. Lows in the mid to upper 50s.
Tuesday will be mostly cloudy with a few isolated showers possible. The highs will fall into the 60s and low 70s.
Wednesday skies will remain mostly cloudy and we may have to add in a rain chance south of Appleton. Highs will stay in the 60s to low 70s.
Milder temperatures move in later in the week and into the weekend as a big riding pattern takes shape in the upper levels.
