KENDALL, Wis. (WFRV) – A 67-year-old woman and former bank employee was charged with embezzlement after an indictment alleges she stole from deposit accounts for over 12 years.
According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Wisconsin, Sandra Campfield of Kendall worked at a bank in Elroy, where she allegedly embezzled money from the certificate of deposit accounts for some bank accounts.

The alleged crime, according to the release, occurred between September 2012 and December 2024. Campfield allegedly used the money for her personal expenses.
If convicted, she faces up to 30 years in prison.
