The Latest from Storm Team 5…
Good morning! A weak cool front moved through the area yesterday and that plus clear skies overnight have allowed for a cool start to our Sunday. However, with mainly sunny skies and a wind eventually turning around to the SW, highs will manage the mid to upper 70s this afternoon. Still running about 10 degrees above average.
Tonight, clear and calm conditions will result in temperatures falling off quickly once our sun sets at 6:37pm this evening. Lows tonight will fall into the mid and upper 40s, around 50 degrees lakeside.
After a cool start to our Monday, mainly sunny skies once again and southwest wind will rocket temperatures back up into the low and mid 80s to kick off the work week. It will actually be a touch humid for the end of the school and work day, but nothing unbearable.
A few mid and high level clouds will roll in on Tuesday, so highs will cool down a degree or two, still managing the upper 70s to around 80.
Highs will remain in the mid to upper 70s for Wednesday and Thursday, getting back into the lower 80s Friday and into the weekend. We need some rain and it looks to stay dry through about next Sunday.
