NEENAH, Wis. (WFRV) – After nearly four decades in business, The Tailored Hide Custom Leather and The Gift Gallery in downtown Neenah is closing its doors.
The shop, known for its custom leather goods, repairs, and unique gift collection, announced a closing event that will begin Tuesday, Oct. 14. Discounts of 20 to 35 percent will be offered on in-stock merchandise, with a portion of sales going to staff.

The business has long been a fixture in the Fox Valley, offering leather apparel, motorcycle gear, jewelry, handbags, home décor, and more.
“We will continue taking repair and custom orders for a very limited time, with a final date to be determined,” the business said in a release, encouraging customers to follow its Facebook page for updates.

Owners said the business will celebrate its final Christmas in Neenah this year, with a full closure expected in January 2026.
“It’s been an honor to serve the Fox Valley, many of the states throughout the United States, and internationally for 39-plus years,” the business wrote. “We have met incredible customers, employees, and new friends along the way, while creating new custom works, restoring sentimental pieces, and keeping well-loved items in use through our repair and alteration services.”
