MILWAUKEE, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities say a major drug bust in Milwaukee has taken a substantial amount of illegal drugs off the streets.
According to the Milwaukee Police Department, its Violent Crime Reduction Team executed a search warrant that led to the arrest of one individual.
Officers recovered more than 19 pounds of marijuana, more than 320 grams of cocaine, and a firearm during the operation.
The identity of the suspect has not yet been released, and charges are expected to be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office.
