MADISON, Wis. (WFRV) – A 16-year-old boy was arrested in Wisconsin after allegedly shooting a man over two weeks earlier.
The Madison Police Department reported that officers were called to a UW Health Clinic after 4 p.m. on September 12 concerning a 19-year-old with a gunshot wound. The victim and suspect had reportedly planned to meet near the 2100 block of East Main Street that day.

Police say that an altercation during the meetup led to the victim being shot, and on September 30, the Violent Crime Unit, Gang Neighborhood Crime Abatement Team and SWAT Team served search warrants in the 200 block of Bunting Lane and the 3600 Block of Eliot Lane.
According to the release, officers located and arrested a suspect in the case, a 16-year-old boy, who was arrested for 1st Degree Reckless Injury and Armed Robbery.
