ASHWAUBENON, Wis. (WFRV) – An 18-year-old man was pronounced dead on Saturday night after he was thrown from his motorcycle during a crash with another vehicle on Ashland Avenue in the Green Bay area.
According to the Ashwaubenon Public Safety, the crash happened around 11:25 p.m. on April 26 on Ashland Avenue at the intersection with Mike McCarthy Way.
Authorities say an 18-year-old man from De Pere was driving on a motorcycle southbound on Ashland Avenue when it crashed into a northbound vehicle turning west onto Mike McCarthy Way from Ashland, causing the man to be thrown from the motorcycle.

He was taken to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
It was noted that the driver of the other vehicle, an 84-year-old woman from Ashwaubenon, was hospitalized with serious but non-life-threatening injuries and is cooperating with crash investigators.
The investigation is ongoing.
