PLEASANT PRAIRIE, Wis. (WFRV)—On Monday morning, Officers in southeast Wisconsin turned what was initially a routine traffic stop into a drug bust and arrested a man from Chicago.
The Pleasant Prairie Police Department reported that the third shift officers initiated a stop on a vehicle that ‘had trouble staying in its lane’; however, it quickly became more than a stop.
Missing 18-year-old from North Fond du Lac found safe
Officers searched the vehicle and recovered multiple types of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and a stolen firearm from Illinois.
The driver, a 19-year-old from Chicago, was arrested on drug charges and for possessing a stolen firearm.
