Active police presence shuts down part of Pine Street in Green Bay

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – A portion of Pine Street in Green Bay remains shut down Tuesday evening due to ongoing police activity following a welfare check.

The Green Bay Police Department says officers were called to the 600 block of Pine Street shortly before 5:15 p.m. and remain on scene. Pine Street is currently closed between South Quincy Street and North Monroe Avenue.

Authorities seek public’s help after construction items go missing in Wisconsin

Police are asking drivers to avoid the area and find an alternate route.
