Another round of scattered showers with isolated storms tonight

The Latest from Storm Team 5…

We began today with showers and thunderstorms, but thankfully we escaped the worst of it. Most of today was just cloudy, with highs surfacing into the low to mid 60s.

Another wave of low pressure is developing off to our south and west and will bring in our next chance of scattered showers and a few isolated storms. These storms will not be severe, but have to watch areas south of Sheboygan for a strong storm or two. Main threats will be brief downpours, gusty winds and at most small hail. Activity will wind down after midnight.

Saturday will start with clouds, but more and more on the way of sunshine will arrive for the afternoon. Highs will be very seasonal in the middle 50s, cooler lakeside. Some of the clouds that linger up north could produce a quick shower. Lows fall into the mid 30s.

Easter Sunday will begin with sunshine, with clouds filling in for the afternoon. Rain will hold off until around dinner time, so most of the days plans will be dry. Rain and a few rumbles of thunder will continue overnight and into Monday morning.

Otherwise, next week, plan on a night rain chance Tuesday, with dry and very mild conditions Wednesday. Highs will close in on 70 degrees. Draft day weather is coming into view, and the latest call is some scattered showers on day 1 followed by a dry day 2 and 3.
