Appleton construction company raises nearly $44K for Children’s Miracle Network

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – A local construction company turned a former casino night tradition into a charitable event that raised nearly $44,000 for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

Consolidated Construction Company hosted its employee-led initiative, “Consolidation for a Cause,” following its annual training session. The event brought together 120 employees, each contributing in unique ways — from securing sponsorships through long-standing business relationships to donating raffle items and participating in games and raffles.

Their collective efforts raised $43,796.57 for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

Before the event, employees nominated and voted on a charitable cause. This year’s beneficiary was chosen after team member Melissa shared her family’s personal experience with the network’s life-saving care. Her story resonated throughout the company, inspiring widespread support.

“We are incredibly proud of our team members for rallying behind an amazing cause to give back to their local Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals,” said Michelle Rueckl, vice president of human resources at Consolidated Construction. “This event’s success is a direct outcome of their leg work. Without them, we have zero donations, sponsors, or funds raised.”
