COON, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities in Vernon County are asking for the public’s help in locating construction items that went missing, possibly stolen, from a roadwork site.
According to the Vernon County Sheriff’s Office, the items disappeared from Dutch Hollow Road near Zitzman Lane in the Town of Coon, roughly 20 miles southeast of La Crosse.

Deputies believe the disappearance occurred sometime between the afternoon of Friday, May 2, and the morning of Monday, May 5. The missing items include a construction sign and several traffic cones.
