“Bigger, better, and cheesier”: Frozen Pizza Throwdown coming to Neuroscience Group Field

GRAND CHUTE, Wis. (WFRV) – With the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers already scheduled to soon debut the new ‘Frozen Pizzas’ alternate identity, team officials say they are keeping the celebration of the World Capital of Frozen Pizza going with an event that is “bigger, better, and cheesier” than the rest.

According to a release, the Timber Rattlers will be hosting a ‘Frozen Pizza Throwdown’ at Neuroscience Group Field on Saturday, July 19, just one week after debuting the ‘Frozen Pizzas’ alternate identity.

The event is expected to be a friendly competition between the best of the best frozen pizzas that can be found throughout the Badger State, including Jack’s, DiGiorno, Tombstone, California Kitchen, Screamin’ Sicilian, Village Pub, Emil’s, Packerland Pizza, and more.

The event will also feature live music throughout the afternoon and samples of beer from several local Breweries.

We’re excited to bring this unique event featuring frozen pizza, beer, and music to the Fox Cities. Our area is home to some of the best frozen pizza brands in the world and we can’t wait to celebrate that right here at the ballpark!
