CHILTON, Wis. (WFRV) – The Chilton Area Community Foundation has awarded $80,010 in grants to 15 nonprofit organizations working to improve the quality of life in the greater Chilton area.
The funds come from the Chilton Area Community Foundation Fund, which supports initiatives benefiting residents of the Chilton Area School District. Grants are distributed each spring following a competitive application and evaluation process led by local volunteers and Fox Valley Community Foundation staff.
The 2025 grant recipients include:
- Ascension Wisconsin Foundation – $5,000 for a new mobile sexual assault treatment center in Calumet County.
- Calumet County Ag Stewardship Alliance – $700 for local farmer forums on conservation and innovative farming.
- Chilton Public Library – $5,310 for multi-generational programming and engagement.
- Chilton Wrestling Club – $5,000 to help build a new wrestling room in Chilton.
- Community Clothes Closet – $5,000 for the traveling closet initiative providing clothing to people of all ages.
- Ebb & Flow Connections Cooperative – $8,000 for the Community Living Room pilot in Chilton.
- Fox Valley Memory Project – $8,000 for dementia support and education programs in the Chilton area.
- Fox Valley Technical College Foundation – $7,000 to expand English Language Learning services.
- Hilbert Fire Department – $6,000 to purchase new firefighter boots.
- Lakeshore Natural Resource Partnership – $5,000 for the Stony Brook Restoration project.
- LEAVEN, Inc. – $5,000 for emergency financial assistance for Chilton-area residents.
- Multicultural Coalition, Inc. – $5,000 for programming in Chilton.
- New Hope Center, Inc. – $5,000 for the 2025 InnerAct Summer Camp.
- Samaritan – $5,000 for mental health screening for Chilton Public School students in the 2025-2026 school year.
- The Salvation Army of Calumet County – $5,000 to purchase food for the Bread of Life Center in Chilton.
