KENOSHA, Wis. (WFRV) – An officer in southern Wisconsin got a big shoutout from his department after going above and beyond this past week to rescue a cat stuck on a roof.
According to a social media post from the Kenosha Police Department, a Community Service Officer came to the rescue after a cat found itself stuck on a roof with no options to get down.

CSO Zarletti then reportedly jumped into action and scaled up a ladder to rescue the stuck cat and safely bring it down from the roof.
Officials with the Kenosha Police Department afterwards joked, “We always knew Zarletti had range, but who knew he’d check ‘firefighter’ off the bucket list too?”
They went on to add that public service can come in several forms throughout the community, “even if it’s covered in fur and stuck on shingles.”
