Cooler and breezy the next few days

The latest northeast Wisconsin weather forecast from Storm Team 5…

A cool front dropping through the state will change our weather around a bit. Instead of full sunshine and summer-like temperatures like yesterday, we will have some fair-weather clouds, gusty NE winds, and temperatures that drop nearly 15 degrees off of Tuesday’s highs. Plan on afternoon temperatures in the lower to middle 60s, and about 55 near the lakeshore. NE winds gust up to 25 or 30 miles per hour at times today.

Tonight, clear skies with cool temperatures that drop into the upper 30s and lower 40s. It could be cold enough far up north where some patchy frost may occur late tonight.

Lots and lots of sunshine for Thursday with a high on either side of 60 degrees. NE winds still a bit breezy around 10 to 20 miles per hour.

Friday looks really nice again with plenty of sunshine and highs in the low 70s. A weak boundary at night could bring an isolated shower or thunderstorm.

Saturday will be mostly sunny and 71 degrees.

Mother’s Day on Sunday looks spectacular! Sunny and 78 degrees.
