Cooler temps and gusty winds Tuesday

The latest northeast Wisconsin weather forecast from Storm Team 5…

The storms are now gone, but we had strong thunderstorms Monday/Monday night that brough gusty winds, 0.5″ to 1″ hail, and an unconfirmed report of a tornado in Shawano County near Mattoon.

Gusty winds will dry up the rain Tuesday, switching to the west/northwest from 20 to 35 miles per hour! Temperatures tumble from the morning highs – down to the low 50s around midday, then back to the upper 50s as sunshine warms us up this afternoon.

Light winds and clear skies tonight and a cool low of 34 degrees.

Mostly sunny and 59 degrees on Wednesday. Rain will hold off until after midnight late at night.

Rain showers are expected Thursday again with a cool high of 53 degrees.

Hit or miss showers and breezy Friday, otherwise partly sunny and 56 degrees.

Nice for the Fishing Season Opener in Wisconsin Saturday. Mostly sunny and 62 degrees.

Looking dry with some more sunshine on Sunday. The high is 70 degrees!
