Crews put out 3 separate vegetation fires near I-41 in Kaukauna, exact cause undetermined

KAUKAUNA, Wis. (WFRV) – On Wednesday afternoon, firefighters in the Kaukauna area worked to put out three separate vegetation fires that began to spread near I-41.

Around 2:45 p.m. on April 30, firefighters with the Vandenbroek Kaukauna Fire Department responded to I-41 southbound and County JJ after getting multiple reports of a vegetation fire.

The first crews to arrive confirmed that three separate fires were actively burning within the same area. All three were successfully contained and put out, without firefighters needing access to I-41.
