Elementary student in Oshkosh hit by a vehicle, police say no ‘major’ injuries

OSHKOSH, Wis. (WFRV) – A student at Emmeline Cook Elementary School was taken to a hospital after reportedly being hit by a car on Monday morning.

According to the Emmeline Cook Elementary School, a student was hit by a vehicle on the morning of June 2 near the school. The Oshkosh Police Department tells Local 5 a child was involved in a low-speed car crash.

The child was taken to a local hospital and reportedly did not have any ‘major’ injuries.

School officials say that at the time of the incident, most of the students were lined up and going into the building. The child’s parent was contacted and followed them to the hospital.
