DE PERE, Wis. (WFRV) – A beloved family-owned gelato shop in Green Bay has opened a new set of doors, this time in De Pere.
Sara’s Artisan Gelato is a staple of Green Bay and has multiple locations throughout the state and a few in the Upper Peninsula, with the newest shop in De Pere.
The De Pere shop celebrated its opening with a ribbon cutting on Wednesday morning outside the doors. De Pere residents who wish to keep a shorter drive for some gelato can stop by the new location at 3131 Monroe Road.
Sara’s Artisan Gelato also confirmed that the Ashwaubenon store is staying in its space without changes; the De Pere space is just another location to get a scoop of local and traditional gelato, open on Monday-Saturday from noon until 9 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 7 p.m.
