The Latest from Storm Team 5…
Good Morning! A weakening wave of low pressure will bring in some scattered morning showers today, but things should dry out into the afternoon. If we are lucky enough, we could see some late day clearing around sunset. Highs today will run slightly below average in the low to mid 50s. It will be breezy at times with SE winds gusting 20-25mph at the top end.
Tonight, clear to partly cloudy, with lows falling into the upper 30s to around 40 degrees.
For Wednesday, skies will begin mostly cloudy with a few showers areas south of Oshkosh. We should see some mid day clearing, so pair that with a SE wind once again, highs will push the upper 60s and 70s. Keep an eye to the sky late afternoon and evening as some scattered thunderstorms are expected to move in. A few showers will linger overnight.
Its getting closer, NFL Draft Day 1 is almost upon us. Thursday we will likely begin the day with some scattered showers, but drier conditions move in for the afternoon. Highs around seasonal averages in the low to middle 50s. Latest model data suggests the next round of rain will not move in until the overnight, after all 32 first round picks are called, something to check up on in the days ahead.
Friday, scattered showers for the morning and early afternoon, but things should be dry for rounds 2 and 3. Highs slightly cooler in the low to middle 50s. Beautiful weekend upcoming, but keeps tabs on Monday and Tuesday as more thunderstorms are expected.
