Light rain chance to finish the weekend

The latest Northeast Wisconsin weather forecast from Storm Team 5…

Low pressure has built in to our southwest last night, bringing increased clouds cover and light showers that are continuing to move in this morning.

We will stay mostly cloudy with the chance for a passing shower all day long. By this evening, a better chance for rain will build in and could even bring in an isolated thunderstorm which will hold until about daybreak tomorrow.

By tomorrow morning, we are quieter with the chance for a passing sprinkle.

Into Monday afternoon, a cold front will drop through behind our system, bringing in very gusty winds as well as cooling temps. So, with a better chance for heavier precip to move back in by tomorrow afternoon and evening, precip will change from rain to snow.

This cold front keeps temps a touch cooler Tuesday, but highs will get back to above freezing, so any snow will melt. Tuesday turns sunny in the afternoon, and the work week will end more mild with highs in the mid to upper 50s!
