The latest northeast Wisconsin weather forecast from Storm Team 5…
After reaching 80 degrees or higher a record-tying 15 times in the month of September, a cooler pattern will drop in for a while. It’s not going to be cold, but noticeably cooler out there at times in the next week. Gusty winds help temperatures tumble into the 60s area wide. Later tonight, patchy frost could form, especially in low-lying areas north/west of Green Bay and the Fox Valley.
Plan on a lot of sunshine again Monday with a high in the middle and upper 60s. Northwest winds will go from 10 to 25 miles per hour.
Winds relax tonight through the evening. A thin veil of clouds overhead tonight as cool temperatures continue to work into the state. Lows will be mainly in the upper 30s and lower 40s, and some select spots will have to watch out for patchy frost.
Sunny and windy for Wednesday. The high goes up to 72 degrees thanks to a wind direction change. Southwest winds could gust up to 30 or 35 miles per hour at times, especially in the afternoon.
Looking nice on Thursday with a high of 74 degrees, and a mix of sun and clouds in the sky and lighter winds. A weak boundary dropping in from the north in the evening or at night could drop a light rain shower or sprinkle over some of the area.
A bit cooler Friday behind that Thursday night front. Mostly sunny and 68 degrees.
Nice Saturday with mainly sunny skies and a daytime high of 73 degrees. Another weak front in the evening or at night could drop a light shower for some of the area.
Gameday on Sunday will feature a mix of sun and clouds with a high of 70 degrees.
