HOWARD, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities in Brown County are investigating multiple incidents of deceased dogs being found.
According to a social media post, the deceased dogs were found in Howard. On Sunday, April 13, a small elderly dog was discovered in a Sketchers shoe box at Pamperin Park.

Later, two more deceased dogs were found in the brush near the West Deerfield kayak launch. Both dogs were medium in size with a smaller frame and had tan, white, and gray short hair.

While the two dogs appeared to have similar coloring and size, officials believe one had been there significantly longer than the other. One was likely placed there around late November or December, while the other appears to have been there since the end of January.
