MONTPELIER, Wis. (WFRV) – One person died and multiple people were injured after a two-vehicle crash in Kewaunee County on Saturday afternoon.
The Kewaunee County Sheriff’s Department reported that officials were alerted to a crash around 4:43 p.m. on Saturday with multiple injuries at the intersection of County Highways AB and F in Montpelier.
Deputies arrived and determined that nine people were involved. Preliminary investigations revealed that a 2018 Toyota SUV heading west on CTH F didn’t stop and hit a northbound vehicle.
The Toyota driver was a 29-year-old Green Bay man with four passengers inside. Everybody in the vehicle was taken to Aurora Bay Care in Green Bay for injury treatment.
The northbound vehicle, a 2018 Chevrolet SUV, was driven by a 72-year-old De Pere man, and three passengers were inside. One of the passengers died from injuries at the scene. Everybody else was taken to St. Vincent’s Hospital.

One person in the crash was airlifted to a hospital.
No additional details are available as an investigation continues through Kewaunee County officials.
