GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – The New Leaf Prep Academy Community Orchard got a little gift on Earth Day from students, teachers and volunteers, with some brand new planted fruit trees.
New Leaf Foods kicked off its spring orchard installations with the expansion project in a third year of collaboration with the Montessori school, with the event beginning at 10 a.m.

The school received the Community Orchard last year from New Leaf Foods, and the school expressed its excitement to expand the ‘live-action classroom.’
The goal of the Community Orchard is to help ensure that the future of the area can continue enjoying fresh and local food for no cost.
The New Leaf Prep Academy is a Montessori School, which works with hands-on opportunities, thus making the Community Orchard a quintessential piece of everyday education for students.
