NEW Zoo & Adventure Park opens brand new attraction for children, showcasing goat athleticism

SUAMICO, Wis. (WFRV) – People often debate the ‘G.O.A.T’ in respective sports, but if you have ever wanted to see actual goats showcase their athleticism, the NEW Zoo and Adventure Park’s most recent attraction is now open.

The NEW Zoo and Adventure Park and NEW Zoological Society unveiled the newest addition to the Children’s Zoo: The Billy Goats Gruff Tower.

The tower features platforms on multiple levels and bridges connecting it with goat yards, allowing the 12 domestic goats in the zoo to showcase their climbing skills.

“There is nothing that goats love more than climbing and exploring,” NEW Zoo and Adventure Park director Carmen Murach said. “One of our top priorities is animal well-being. That’s not just ensuring they’re healthy, but they also have things to do.”

NEW Zoo guests were invited to check out the new tower on Wednesday morning, watching the goats climb and showcase their skills.

While it’s not Tom Brady, Wayne Gretzky or Simone Biles, families looking to watch a few goats showcase their climbing skills can go to the NEW Zoo and Adventure Park.
