“No driving on the grass”: Truck causes significant damage to area near Appleton’s Greenview St.

APPLETON, Wis. (WFRV) – A truck recently got stuck trying to drive through a grassy area near Appleton’s South Greenview Street, reportedly causing significant damage.

Officers with the Appleton Police Department stated that someone tried to drive their truck through the 2700 block of South Greenview Street over the past weekend.

The truck reportedly got stuck and allegedly caused ‘significant damage’ to the ground in the area.

Officers are asking residents not to drive on the grass through the stretch between the 2700 block of South Schaefer Street through the 2700 block of South Wheatfield Street.

It was also noted that crews will be assessing and repairing the damage soon. No additional details were provided.
