OSHKOSH, Wis. (WFRV) – Several people were arrested following an extensive investigation by the Oshkosh Police Department into a drug trafficking group in multiple Wisconsin cities.
The investigation resulted in numerous search warrants issued at a home on the north side of Oshkosh and another on the south side. Two additional search warrants were executed in a pair of Milwaukee homes in association with the Oshkosh investigation.
Two arrested after deputies in Wisconsin find 80+ grams of meth, drug gear during traffic stop
On May 29, the Oshkosh Police Department’s Vice and Narcotics Unit, Criminal Investigation Division and SWAT Team conducted the warrants.
The search warrants resulted in the arrest of four Oshkosh adults:
- A 35-year-old for maintaining a drug trafficking place
- A 40-year-old on a probation and parole warrant
- A 41-year-old on a probation and parole warrant as well as possession of methamphetamine
- A 44-year-old for possession with intent to deliver cocaine, maintaining a drug trafficking place and the manufacturing/delivery of methamphetamine
In addition, authorities seized three handguns, 1.58 pounds of meth, 23.1 grams of fentanyl, 117.1 grams of cocaine, 2.7 grams of MDMA, 40 grams of marijuana and about $5,000 in cash.
The Milwaukee Police Department and Lake Winnebago Area Meg Unit conducted two related search warrants at two homes in Milwaukee on May 29 as well. The two residences are related to the 35-year-old man arrested.
