DE PERE, Wis. (WFRV) — Although the NFL Draft is in the books, plenty of prospects around the country are waiting to see if teams around the league are interested in them as rookie minicamp invitees. One of those hopefuls is Peshtigo’s Mitchell Van Vooren.
The former St. Norbert wideout, turned NFL tight end prospect, didn’t hear his name called in Titletown, but over the weekend, the Cleveland Browns did what he would have hoped for — gave the former Marquette track star an opportunity.
