CALEDONIA, Wis. (WFRV) – Police say one person is dead following a barn fire early Sunday morning in southeast Wisconsin.
According to a release from the Caledonia Police Department, officers and fire crews responded at 2:56 a.m. to a reported fire on the 7900 block of Nicholson Road.
Crews were said to have arrived on the scene within four minutes where they were faced with a fully engulfed barn.

While putting out the fire, no first responders were hurt, however, one person was found dead inside the damaged barn.
No other information is available at this time. An investigation into the incident is ongoing and the Caledonia Police Department is working with the Medical Examiner’s Office to identify the dead body.
