Rain/thunderstorms to finish this Easter Weekend

The latest Northeast Wisconsin weather forecast from Storm Team 5…

High pressure sitting to our east this morning has given way to a beautiful and quiet start to this Easter Morning! Most places will remain clear for the morning hours.

By the lunch hour, we all will turn mostly cloudy, as our next area of low pressure builds in to our southwest. Out ahead of this system, a warm from lifted and for many states across the Midwest, the energy and strength has built in to give way to the chance for severe weather this afternoon. For us, we will stay away from anything severe, but we do have the chance to see rain and thunderstorms.

Rain/t-storms should reach the Fox Valley by around 3pm continuing with thunderstorms overnight.

A few storms hold tomorrow morning, but behind our system, a cold front will drop in cooling off places up north, and light rain will turn likely to mixed showers or snow for our Northwoods communities throughout the afternoon.

By tomorrow night, we are mostly clear and quiet.
