REPORT: Bucks Damian Lillard to play in Game 2 versus Pacers

MILWAUKEE, Wis. (WFRV) – While the Milwaukee Bucks find themselves down one game to zero in the first round of the NBA Playoffs against the Indiana Pacers, the team is about to get some much-needed reinforcements Tuesday night.

As first reported by the NBA’s Chris Haynes, Bucks star point guard Damian Lillard is expected to make his return to the court in Game 2.

Lillard has been out of action for over a month after being diagnosed with deep vein thrombosis in his right calf.

Despite being out for Game 1 of the first round, news broke on April 18 that the seven-time All-Star was officially cleared for full-scale basketball activities and was taken off blood-thinning medication.

Lillard, a career 37% shooter from the three-point arc, will provide Milwaukee with some much-needed firepower as the team shot just 24.3% from three in the 117-98 loss to Indiana.

The Bucks and Pacers are scheduled to tip off in Game 2 Tuesday night at 6:00 p.m.
