NEENAH, Wis. (WFRV) – The Neenah Joint School District hosted a different type of ‘NASA’ on Wednesday, celebrating and rallying for students with disabilities.
An activities event that the school district called NASA, or Neenah Applauding Student Abilities, started at 9:15 a.m., inviting over 100 students with disabilities at all levels of adaptive PE.

The first activity was an opening ceremony at Neenah High School’s Performing Arts Center, and it continued at the track and football field for games and activities from 10 a.m. to noon.
Every school in the Neenah Joint School District had students in attendance, as they were bussed to the high school for a day of activities and fun.
Several high schoolers volunteered to help run the events and activities.
