Students & faculty evacuate for 60 minutes after bomb threat at high school in Wisconsin, no evidence found

TOMAH, Wis. (WFRV) – Students and faculty at a high school in Wisconsin were evacuated on Wednesday afternoon due to a bomb threat written in a bathroom stall; however, no evidence was found of a threat.

The Tomah Police Department reported that multiple agencies responded to the school after administrators contacted law enforcement around 1:40 p.m.

Students and faculty were swiftly evacuated to the football field and then to Winnebago Park, as officers searched the building. No evidence of a threat was found, as students and faculty re-entered the building around 2:45 p.m.

Students were safely released for the end of the day at their normal time around 3:21 p.m.
