Sunny days, then the year’s warmest air

The latest northeast Wisconsin weather forecast from Storm Team 5…

Cool weather out there as temperatures stay below normal for one more day! Some areas of frost for the northwoods as the new day begins, then tonight, every county will get a chance at some more areas of frost, especially those low-lying areas. It’s a good idea to bring any temperatures sensitive plants inside, or cover them up before bed!

High pressure will bring lots of sunshine on Thursday, but it will stay a little breezy as northeast winds go from 10 to 20 miles per hour. Cool highs in the upper 50s and lower 60s expected, with temps near 50 by Lake Michigan.

Clear skies and light winds will be a perfect recipe for areas of frost tonight. Temperatures will drop into the low to mid 30s – a touch warmer by the lake in the upper 30s.

Lots of sunshine again Friday with warmer air courtesy of winds switching to the southwest. Highs will be in the low to middle 70s away from the lake. There is a small chance for a brief rain shower late at night.

Saturday will be mostly sunny again with temperatures pushing 70 degrees.

Sunny and very nice for Mom on Mother’s Day! Highs surge into the upper 70s and lower 80s!
