EVANSVILLE, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities say three individuals have been taken into custody following a shooting in Evansville that left one person dead on Sunday morning.
According to the Evansville Police Department, officers were dispatched to the 300 block of South Madison Avenue just after 9 a.m. on April 6 for a report of a person with a gunshot wound. When they arrived, officers found the victim and immediately provided first aid.
The victim was transported to a nearby hospital but later died from their injuries.

The Rock County Sheriff’s Office says the investigation remains active and ongoing. As of now, three individuals have been arrested and are being held in the Rock County Jail.
Those arrested include:
- Hunter J. Drefahl, 26, of Evansville
- Contributing to Delinquency of a Minor Causing Death
- Possession of Child Pornography – Five Counts
- Sexual Exploitation of a Child
- Child Enticement
- Second-Degree Sexual Assault of a Child
- Alyssa A. Ahrens, 20, of Evansville
- Contributing to Delinquency of a Minor Causing Death
- Possession of Child Pornography – Three Counts
- Sexual Exploitation of a Child
- Child Enticement
- Second-Degree Sexual Assault of a Child
- Possession of Methamphetamine
- William S. Drefahl, 44, of Evansville
- Probation Violation
