FOND DU LAC, Wis. (WFRV) – The Wisconsin Department of Transportation is reporting a semi-truck on fire on Interstate 41 in Fond du Lac and only the right lane is closed.
Other lanes have reopened at this time.

FOND DU LAC, Wis. (WFRV) – The Wisconsin Department of Transportation is reporting a semi-truck on fire on Interstate 41 in Fond du Lac, causing a complete closure.
The semi-truck is pulled over to the side while first responders work to put out the flames. The incident is located on Interstate 41 southbound at the off-ramp to Wisconsin Highway 23.

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation says the fire was reported at around 6:15 p.m., and it could take up to two hours to clear.
Those traveling on Interstate 41 south in Fond du Lac can use the alternate route: east on Wisconsin Highway 23, south on Pioneer Road, and west on Military Road to get back to Interstate 41.

The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office is assisting in the fire. More updates are expected to follow in the next hour or so.
