“True Wisconsin welcome”: City of Green Bay announces Military Avenue Tailgate Party for NFL Draft

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – With just a week until the 2025 NFL Draft embarks on Titletown, the City of Green Bay has announced a Tailgate Party on Military Avenue for the event’s duration that presents a true Wisconsin welcome.

City officials announced on Thursday morning that Military Avenue is rolling out the ‘green and gold’ carpet for a three-day Tailgate Party that begins at 9 a.m. on Thursday, April 24.

Beginning each day at 9 a.m., visitors can expect a true Wisconsin welcome just steps away from the Draft Campus entrance that features a hearty Wisconsin-style breakfast served all day, various food trucks, a beer and beverage tent, local vendors, and live entertainment.

“We want a family to be able to come in and enjoy the day and enjoy their stay here in Green Bay,” said Scott Batterham, co-owner of Book Stop on Military Ave and an event organizer. “It’s going to be a tailgate party, just like you’d find on Packer gamedays, but with even more for everyone to enjoy.”

Officials say that premier parking is available at Military Times Square, and the “Get Around Green Bay” table at the Tailgate Tent will help visitors navigate the city and make the most of their Draft Week experience.
