(WFRV) – A ‘large-scale’ fraud investigation in Door County has reportedly resulted in the seizure and future sale of two properties and their contents.
According to the Door County Sheriff’s Office, a residential property and a business property were seized following a ‘large-scale fraud investigation’. Officials say, along with the Door County District Attorney’s office, a residential property at 8089 Stewart Lane in Nasewaupee and a business property at 8952 County Highway C in Gardner were seized.
Additionally, it was mentioned that due to a result of a decision made in Door County Circuit Court, both properties and its contents will be sold.
Authorities say moveable property from the 8952 County Highway C location will be sold online via an auction through Massart Auctioneers Inc. Moveable property from the 8089 Stewart Lane location is planned to be sold via an online auction.
