PLATTEVILLE, Wis. (WFRV) – Two students are said to be dead following an incident Monday afternoon on the UW-Platteville campus.
In an email late Monday night, the UW-Platteville chancellor confirmed the death of two 22-year-old women following the incident inside Wilgus Hall. Officials say this was an isolated incident.
It was determined relatively soon that it was not an active ongoing threat. Emergency personnel responded immediately. We activated our safety protocol and we alerted campus to shelter in place.
