DAGGETT, Mich. (WFRV) — A 35-year-old man from Stephenson, Michigan, was taken into custody last Friday following an alleged stabbing incident in Daggett.
According to the Menominee County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched to a residence in Daggett shortly before 11 p.m. on May 2 for a disturbance that escalated into a report of a stabbing in progress.

Authorities say the suspect fled the scene on foot, heading south. Deputies arrived on scene shortly after 11 p.m., assisted the 24-year-old victim, and began searching for the suspect. He was found and detained around 11:15 p.m.
